As somebody who is familiar with using a Cobb AP, I assume that this OFT fills that same kind of niche with regards to the OTS tunes etc. etc.

Navigating the site, it seems like the tablet is $499 and then you get that same amount in basically OFT funbux. Is that right?

Do I need to spend those funbux on the OTS tunes?

Can I peruse the OTS tune library online? (I looked, but I may be too dumb to find it).

And lastly: Has anybody ran what is essentially an OTS Stage 2 tune for this similar exhaust config, using the shitty Arizona 10% ethanol 91 octane that is the best we get in this area? Cobb had specific OTS tunes for the "ACN" fuel (arizona, nevada, california) and I guess I'm wondering if OFT does something similar.
The OTS tunes are free.
You use the OFT bucks toward the products on the openflash website.

No tunes for state specific gas. Just 91,93 and e85

Stage 2 oft tunes are for cars with catless header and yes the P0420 cel code " cat efficiency" is turned od in all stage2 tunes.

OMG I love my OFT!

Shipping was FAST, ordered on 26th, arrived on 30th and I'm in Canada.

I have to say the writing process was very simple and drama free. Quicker than I thought too.

I don't have a header (yet) so I ran the Stage 1 tune with just a catback exhaust and I must say there are some great improvements.

I know some of the others mentioned this but idle is so much smoother now, no rpm wobbles and just smooth, buttery smooth, like so smooth. lol

Even my wife noticed it and said "wow feels like a more premium car" lol

Reverse and 1st gear is going to take me a few days to get used to as the feel of the car has changed. Not in a bad way and much more refined feel.

Two best traits of the OFT for me was these two...

1. Torque dip is pretty much gone which by itself is worth it imo. I'm sure I'll probably get used to how linear the pwr delivery is now but damn I can't believe how much smoother the power comes on now.
2. Throttle response. Its pretty immediate now. VERY different than stock tune. Great to feel that the car is really maximizing what little power it has and gets on it right away.

I can't wait to see how different she feels at my next autox event

I email Shiv a few times and the response times were fantastic! Very impressed and super nice guy, answered my questions and made me feel confident in my choice to go with these guys.

Now I'm eyeing that Header... lol save some funds

If you have 500$ buy this. #1 mod anyone should do on their FRS/BRZ hands down!
