If it is setup for smooth roads, then you can run full stiff without feeling any differences. I suggest you run through their installation manual and follow their recommended settings. I also would not be so sure if HKS would help you on setup...however, if you did purchase directly through them with quite a bit of dialogue with the engineer and yourself, it might be different. Your vendor, who you purchased from, is assumed to be an expert in the product and its quirks so they might be able to help you assess any issues you may have as well.

I will stay away from any KW products from now on. They ride great and have done ok in my vehicles. (evo, s2k) I had club sports on both...

I hate their customer service and warranty on their club sports. (They do state that clubsports do not have warranty. Which kinda sucks when the v3's do and the more expensive CS don't...). I had my clubsports sent in due to leaking rebound adjustment valve. I paid $300+ for rebuild and ship. Mind you the shocks were no more than 1500 miles old.
I found out after the rebuild on the shock the faulty spherical bearing on top hat was the cause for the bent rod. which I have asked the tech to look over and I even sent it with the shock. I noticed the bent rod shock had the stiffer spherical bearing as I could not swivel them with my hands. They didnt even look over it and said it was supposed to be stiff... I ended up replacing the bearing myself and put it together myself.

after this I told myself I would never own another KW product.

I bought a set of HKS SP coils... but have not installed them yet as I am waiting for wheels/tires/sway bars upgrade at the same time.

wish I can be more help but I just wanted to share my experience with KW and their customer service techs overlook/incompetence

Had the hks sp out on the highway, and for around town and just crusing, 20 clicks from full stiff seems ideal. Pushing the car hard on this setting it felt a little bouncy/unplanted. 10 clicks from full stiff surprisingly dosnt feel much stiffer until u hit a larger bump, then u realy notice it. Car felt great at this setting pushing it. You can realy feel what the tires are doing. I havnt gone stiffer than this yet, as i dont see or know what the advantage would be. Preset is 15 clicks which as expected seems to have a nice compromise.

Ok Mike. Just dropped the dime on this. We'll see if there worth it.
I have NEVER been on top tier suspension. Just the rough stuff.
Wish me luck guys
And yes I'll post the install/setup and driving impression from a suspension junior.

Yes. I got the OTS Tein SRC's.
I wanted that little spaceman to put on the window. LOL
Now the CSG spec SRC 's were a little hard to justify, price wise.
I picked the high end Coilovers cause the set I had on my STI knocked the fillings out of my teeth. Combination of incompatible parts.
Plus this old, "suspension non expert" guy requires the support of the experts. The only regrettable thing is they may never see a track. But RRR IS just 15 min away. You never know.
Now for a set of LCA's, two more wheels, and then tires and a tune. Gonna have an expensive Christmas.

I've got my eye on those CSG spec SRC's, just unsure on justification for me. Price is good for what they are - potentially great. But still up there in price - by the time I get to spring season I'll have spent a few pennies since a full header-back is also on the list (plus those rear LCA's, possibly brakes for weight, but I definitely won't be making use of the weight-loss right away!) Got an order in on 17x9's, will need summer drivers (and just got winters) ...

I don't like spending money twice, and I can afford it if I'm careful but... well, careful says I justify the extra spend. Just bought a new house this summer, which set back a return to the AutoX course a year, so mortgage and property taxes and stuff need to stay in budget too... whee.

Hey I just refinanced my house. I found two Mach V's at an awesome price. (pun intended) need to buy two more. Tires and find a decent tuner. Then I'm done.
Then the wife's turn to keep the peace.

Don't look at the nice RacerX deal on LCA's right now if you don't want them.

Now a question. On the Racer X website, is the price for a pair of LCA's or just one. It doesn't state so I think it's just for one.
