Grinding Iron Banner wasn't bad got the gauntlets and boots for my titan in probably around 8 ish hours of playtime. I was really pissed earlier this week when I was doing the weekly nightfall solo almost killed sepiks and the friggin game dropped connection so pissed

Yeah I'm pretty bad at PvP and I'm not really afraid to hide it. Usually decent at the PvE stuff, but still trying to get all my weapons leveled up. I really need to focus on my Void weapons since it's so important in the Raid but been really slow at getting all the ascendant material.

And yes, had a similar experience in the Nightfall 2 weeks back. Almost had the Archon priest dead and got booted to orbit for some reason. Argh.

Hahaha so many post mortem melee kills, it's how I did most of that bounty. Gotta love lag.

My best game as a 4.0 K/D, somehow managed to pull off 20 kills and only 5 deaths. Got the 10 kill streak too and I didn't have the bounty at the time. Figures. By far my best game although I was steadily getting better when I wasn't too drunk. Managed to pull my lifetime Control K/D up to 0.95. That may not impress most of you but that's a feat for me.

What mode? I really need practice as I haven't done it that often, just don't boot me if I suck! (I haven't really had problems until trying to do it on hard mode last night and then there was that one time trying to get across the disappearing pillars lol)

Normal mode. I do not plan on being pissed off on Thanksgiving haha! No worries I may be running it with my PvP friends this time and they're not as adept in PvE. They're more used to running out solo and carrying a team which CANNOT be done in the raid as they've learned the hard way.

Cool well I'll pretty much have the whole day alone so having time to do the raid on normal shouldn't be an issue for me. The girlfriend is working a 12 hour shift that day so only time I'll be unavailable is when I take her lunch. If you need an extra person just let me know. I still don't have any experience with the relics.

Can someone comfirm something for me? Do you need to complete the Raid on Hard mode in order to get chest piece and/or helmet? I'm reading contradictory evidence out there on the internet. I've seen many people say they have gotten chest piece/helmet running the Raid on normal mode.

All hard mode does is increase the chances of obtaining raid gear. I doubt there's much of a difference since people who do hard mode are still complaining about not getting gear. IMO it's not worth the extra effort or time. All that extra time can be spent completing bounties, strikes, and PvP matches.

I think you can only get the helm on hard.

Did the raid on normal twice and twice on hard last night and actually got something this time besides shards and energy.
