However, I can say from the test drive that the only thing I would miss would be the sunroof.

For those of you having issues with the passenger seat belt sensor--take it into the dealer. If the sensor is being interfered with by a cell phone, some interference could screw with the sensor while someone is in the seat and the airbag might not deploy. That is what recalls are for!
Just remind yourself that this car was designed to be driven for fun. Not for cup holders, not for worthless sunroofs/moonroofs, not resting your arms, not for fancy mirrors etc...

There's a drink holder in the door to your left, marked with tiny pictures of beverages. That one is really useful.

Why does every goddamn WRX think I want to drag race when were at a red light?! I really hate this juvenile street racing mentality associated with these cars and other Japanese tuners. Grow the %&@$ up.

Sorry, end rant.

True but if it's a to-go cup of coffee it won't work well

You realize you quoted a post of mine from over 2 years ago?

I have the car now, and love it, even without a sunroof. And I have been driving it for fun, even all the way to Virginia Beach for this past summer's 86EXPO. Simply put, its a blast.

You get used to it...or you focus on the driving instead of sipping coffee. Thats my experience, at least.

Sorry, end rant.
The weirdest damn cars want to race me. No WRX has tried, but jettas, soccer mom BMWs, an Acura SUV, and an F-150 have all tried. I don't engage them but I do usually drive a bit faster at night when this happens and lose them in corners because it's usually some idiot who balks as soon as they take a corner in a 4000 pound car with crappy suspension.

It frustrates me beyond belief. Yesterday a jetta kept slowing down and jumping forward every time I caught up with him. I was listening to NPR and he kept revving at me. Dude was like 30. Control yourself man it was like 3 pm on Sunday.
