How do I get the speedometer and the tachometer to rise and fall on start up?

Setting the shift indicator will make it so that on startup, the tach rises to your set RPM and falls. I don't think you can make it so the speedo does this but I may be wrong

Nah, you're right. Just the tach to show your blinky-light setting.

...and because it looks cool.

All the twins I've driven never achieve that the only time the tach rises and falls is if you set the shift light and beep correctly... Maybe it's different for the gt86?

I didn't want to make a thread on this, because it's not worth it's own thread, and at the same time, I don't know where to put this, because it's kinda stupid or more of a troll.

-But did anyone ever take a closer look at the FA20 engine sitting in our cars and notice how it's kinda scary how we have a big "FACE-HUGGER" from Aliens or at least how much it resembles one?

-This one pertains to those who run a TRD front strut bar. But I ever since I got the bar, I've always wondered, why the TRD bar only says "Racing Development" and not "Toyota Racing Development". Then I realized how the strut bar is stance so far up that it perfectly blocks out the Subaru name. That way when you look at your engine head on, you see that it incorporates the "Toyota" word that is embossed on the Face-Hugger FA20 engine and matches with the strut bar creating "Toyota Racing Development". To see the Subaru name, you have to really kneel down or look at a certain angle or simply lean forward to see the name. OOOOO SUBARU DISS!!!

My tech does the needle sweep on startup and I don't have the shift light set.

Subaru made sure to put their name on both fender lips in the engine bay and you KNOW they did that on purpose, checkmate!

Not to mention the Subaru stamped in the back of the FRS badges!
