I had an in depth look under the car. I really can't see this being done without lifting the motor. There literally is an inch of clearance between the coilpacks and the frame rail.

I'm still quite skeptical plugs can be changed out easily.

I did it without lifting the engine one mm. U just have to remove the di ECU and the mount and have small hands. Took about 2hrs total

Special swivel sockets and extensions make changing the spark plugs on our cars "easy"... Harder than a Honda but still really not that difficult.
