The simple fact is you said it wouldn't work when it does. Learn something everyday no?

In regards to the multiple senders and limited number of ports, one of the thousand brass/steel/stainless Y/T'shaped fittings will work. I can't speak for the newer MTX series gauges but, they were included with the older mechanical ones like the G2 series I had.

Oil Temp/Pressure are 2 individual units. Most also will not want to directly mount the pressure sending units to the brass fittings/gallery plug due to their large size. A few companies like Fast-Turbo make simple line kits compoased of braided lines and AN fittings. (Easy to do/make yourself.) This will also help keep the bay looking clean. It should also be noted that some have also had the brass fittings break/crack. The relocation kits can help take some of the weight off the fittings, or simple you can make a bracket to help support the additional weight.

DGAF about being wrong. Far from the last time. I'm here to learn & share.

So, moving along... anyone have a current MTX-D setup they care to brag up a little?

Sorry to bump an old thread - going to be installing temp and pressure gauges very soon. I've settled on using the galley location for pressure.

What are people's opinions on using a sandwich plate (already have one with oil cooler) for temperature? Will it read high / low / is it "accurate" compared to stock sensor?

Thanks!

I would be interested in where some of you are installing these gauges, I have the premium model brz so the 3 gauges next to the shifter that someone posted ealier wouldn't be an option for me

theres a number of places. There is a B pillar pod, there is a pod for just on top of your center console, there are vent pods.

Going to give one of these a try

With these you can set them up to read 2 sensors, or have a numerical readout and taco off 1 sensor.

And the same with the dual gauges, can have three diff sensor readings or 2 readings with a numerical of one of them.

Input Voltage Range 6 - 16V (For 24V systems use GA-2412V)
Nominal Current Draw 30mA
Gauge Dimensions Ø52mm x 42mm (not incl. studs, Bezel Ø56mm)
Gauge Weight 50g
Warranty 2 Years
Sensor 1 (included) 1/8th NPT Oil Pressure Sensor 0 - 150PSI
Sensor 2 (included) 1/4 NPT Temp Sensor -20 to 170°C
Sensor 3 (optional) GS-UT-80 / GS-UT-120 / GS-OWT1-4 / GS-OWT1-8

I want to read oil pressure and temp unsure which I will get yet prob just single gauge and set oil temp as the optional readout

Did you remove your stock oil pressure sensor? Any issues?

Yes I removed the stock oil pressure sensor and used that port for my oil temperature gauge. No issues.

I have Defi Advance CR boost, oil temp, oil pressure and water temp gauges. I agree, they are high quality gauges. I love the peak recall function and audible and visual warnings of the Advance series. The CR gauges also allow the user to choose white or amber backlighting, great feature too.

Yup it's a bit cluttered with all the gauges, but tracking the car with FI, they are a must. The p3cars vent gauge was the first gauge I got, now I use it to monitor intake air temp. My boost gauge is installed on the passenger AC vent, because airflow from the vent is drastically reduced with the gauge in place. Since I have SC I don't have to monitor boost as often (no risk of overboost)
