Here's a video of me at a new track
weather was 30 degrees. I did not get the oil cooler installed on time but no problem with heating thanks to the weather. [ame]http://youtu.be/xvMsZs3qCI0[/ame]

Anyone using Innovate Oil temp/pressure gauge with the PTuning oil cooler?
The oil gauge adapter is a 1/8 NPT thread while the gauge is 1/8 PT... Anyone find a solution to this? I tried looking for an NPT to PT adapter but no luck so far. Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

![]() But you say the Defi gauge was 1/8" PT. My Innovate is also 1/8" PT. Where exactly did you plug in the sensor? Do you have pics I can see?

It replaces the plug next to the AC compressor. Not my pic, but pretty much the same setup here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45168 |

Never heard of 1/8" PT. 99.9% of aftermarket gauge sensor in 1/8" is either going to be 1/8" NPT or 1/8" BSP. The factory oem sensors are usually 1/8" BSP (specifically BSPT (T for taper)). There's also BSPP (P for parallel). both BSPP and BSPT are referred as BSP. But I'm certain, the innovate sensor uses 1/8" NPT. The innovate gauges that we installed recently for a customer using our ptuning oil cooler all had 1/8" NPT sensors (oil temp, oil pressure, and water). |

http://www.rallysportdirect.com/Inno...ure-Gauge-52mm On the site it says 1/8" PT and also in the install guide sheet that came with the gauge says it's 1/8" PT also. I just ordered the optional Ptuning oil sensor adapter, so I will try it out when it arrives. Also, your install guide was very descriptive and easy to follow; it made install enjoyable and not frustrating lol. And all the parts were very good quality. This is why I stick to PTuning

I believe they meant to type 1/8" NPT or someone at innovate thinks that there's only one type of (P)ipe (T)hread, when we all know that there are more a few pipe thread specs in use. That's like telling someone to go buy an M8 bolt without specifying the thread pitch

![]() http://www.glowshiftdirect.com/18-np...e-adapter.aspx But also the oil sensor sending unit was too fat to fit directly next to the AC condensor so I had to buy: ![]() http://www.glowshiftdirect.com/senso...-hose-kit.aspx

Had to do research to figure this out a while back. PT is terminology they use in asia or something but it is actually BSPT.
