My first was a 1975 AMC Jeep CJ5. It came off the line June 20 and was one month older than I. The straight six was easy to work on. I could practically sit in the engine bay and work on it. It only had 3 gears and a steering wheel the size of a bus. No comforts at all. I did put in an after market stereo and built speaker boxes, plus added some pipe insulation to the roll bar. It was a good car to start with. Then I sold it for an '84 Nissan 300ZX. That car had a world of electrical problems. But, it did look good. It still had Datsun stamps through out.

'76 Nova...2 doors too many and 2 cylinders too few. @White64Goat I've had a few Vegas (and the Pontiac clone Astre) over the years, but was never lucky enough to find a pre-74 small bumper car...they looked much better than the later ones.

Me too (friend that is)! We had a blast with that car until the rust demons got it. Almost over night it went from perfect to close the door too hard and chunks fell off.

Yea, too bad they weren't fast enough to outrun the rust demons!

Yep, those are the ones...I would have cut the bumper just like the one above. I always thought they looked best that way...a baby Camaro RS so-to-speak.

I had a nicely done up 327 I pulled out of my 55 Chevy he was always going to buy and put in it but never came through with the cash. It would have been a rocket (also probably a death trap but that is beside the point).

Do you remember what the rims were? Oh wait, first car, of course you do!!!!
I have been looking for that style for the FRS but haven't had much luck finding exactly what I want and they look like they are it.

I bought 16" BBS RS faces, sandblasted and powdercoated and then bought Rotiform 16-17" conversion lips and barrels to make them 17x9 17x10. Then new hardware, center caps, etc. Costed about $3000 all together
