What will be the first big complaint about the FR-S?
Lets be realistic here, this is a fantastic looking/ well balanced car, but once the new feeling wears off, we might be getting some problems eventually.
What do you think is going to be the first big concern? Take Toyota/Subaru craftsmanship into consideration. Rattling body panels/squeaky ride? Excessive tire wear? Brakes are like a sunfire's, and wear notoriously fast? Paint is mazda-quality (garbage)? Engine problems because of the DI? Where do you think we will see the first cracks in this car's image, knowing what generally happens to each manufacturer's cars over the last decade? I'm going to go with something being a problem with the engine, or this car getting much worse real-life fuel efficiency than we thought. |

Yeah, I'd probably go with "mileage not what it should be" and as they get older "too many rattles". Hope not, but that would not be unusual.

Unless someone has a crystal ball, there is absolutely no way to know which problems might come in future..new car, new platform, new engine, new drivetrain, new everything.

When I had my MK1 MR2 and lived in DC, I had two routes home. One was the direct highway route that was 20 miles and took 40 minutes on a good day. The other was 60 miles that went through winding country roads and always took 90 minutes. I celebrated every time I had to take the long route! |

The seatbelt is the biggest complaint for me far, I have feeling it going to rip from the repeated unbutton the strap.

I already have so many complaints
- stiff hvac knobs - poor quality hvac - felt(like) cloth seats. My Hyundai elantra seats feels better in terms of tactility. Other than those interior comforts, I like the car a lot. |

Paint. Subaru's paint has always been atrocious. Feel like if you stare at it too hard, it'll scratch.

The paint job on the car lacks proper wet sanding. True.
