When I went through fixing leaks the last time, I used the liquid PTFE sealant and it seemed to work better than the tape. I was also meticulous in torquing the fittings. Another important point is that once you have a fitting torqued, leave it alone. If you retorque it, you will break the seal. You need to remove, clean, reapply your sealant and reinstall.

For the small difference in price, you're giving up a really nice digital controller for a manual controller with a single guage. And, an unknown mfg for the struts, whereas the AirLift struts are made by BC Racing. It's your call obviously, but I'd recommend AirLift or AirRex.

Loctite 565 or PTFE sealant works best on the fittings. Last edited by Andrew@ORT; 11-19-2014 at 05:47 PM. |

Then, you have the same coilover system being used by someone running a 11" wide wheel and 275 width tire on the same drop. How or would you even need to adjust the bag system to account for the extra weight? |

the short answer is: no.
the long answer is: with different wheel and tire combinations, you should take the proper precautions to make sure you have enough clearance between the wheel and the bag. the beauty of the air lift performance system is that you can make multiple adjustments to the strut in order to make room for wide wheels.
