Yes, I did get a chance to read up on it. The easiest method so far is to press-and-hold the TC button for 5 seconds. This turns off the electronic nanny to a large degree.
It's enough to have fun with, so no more complaints here!

I was able to play around in the snow over the weekend. Pressing and holding the TC button for 5 seconds did the trick. The safeties aren't completely turned off, but it allows the car to go sideways to a large degree, so I'm happy. This car is awesome fun!

Hey guys,

So my brz was in an accident a few weeks ago and I'm still waiting on insurance to get it appraised. They said it was flagged as a potential total loss. Does anyone have any experience with estimating damages. Ill see if I can post some pics. I know the pics are not the best.

Thanks in advance.

They will only give you msrp for the vehicle. So normal sticker price of a vehicle in the year and milage as yours. I went thru the same thing earlier this year.

Sorry to see a fellow owner down

Yeah its a lease and I have the total loss replacement. Insurance said they are sending a field appraiser to the shop on Thursday. And the shop said its borderline. Kinda hoping for a new car now.

How long did you have it, before the accident? (not that it matters with insurance. I'm just curious)

Yeah, you can get the shop to swap it out for you. I can recommend a shop, if you're still looking for one.

When is it going to be done? Are you parking the car right after?
