Saw a Stirling Silver BRZ southbound at Don Mills and Steeles around 7:50-ish.

Saw a WRB BRZ northbound somewhere on Don Mills, can't remember exactly where though... Sometime around 8:05-ish.

Coincidentally I also saw some moron run a red and get caught by the red light camera there lol.
Was this Sunday night? If so, that was me (parked on the street, not running the red)!

The roads get a bit wet, and everyone goes full retard!
If I got a nickel everytime I saw someone doing 95-105kph in the fast lane on the 404, I'd have enough to buy everyone here a coffee!

I've always wondered why is it that every time a little rain comes off the entire highway system breaks down. I just don't get it. Are people just driving slower or something...

I believe most people don't know the capabilities of their vehicle/tires, and so assume the absolute worst when a bit of moisture hits the ground or it starts to snow.

Mind you, this is better than people overestimating their own capabilities and those of their vehicle, but the flip side is that it does create hazards for others on the road (i.e. unexpected stopping/slowing down, holding up fast lanes etc)

Which is exactly why everyone should go to an HPD class. Driving tests in parts (if not most or all) of Europe require elements of skid recovery/control as part of the licensing program.

Yea, I think it's mostly due to this. I see people do 30 on a ramp where 40 is the advised speed, and it's a beautiful sunny day out. Trust me, your car can go much faster!

On on ramps, I don't mind as much. Gives me a reason to downshift and floor it to merge on to the highway (if it's clear of course)

But I agree, people need to learn the limits of their car and drive within them and not stay at the bottom end of those limits.

When I drive, all I pray for is clear on- and off-ramps, because that's the most fun part of driving! So if people are being idiots on those parts, it gets really annoying! Lol
