The idea sounds great initially, it will become a place to hang crap on in your garage.

I have a ruckus, sucks !! I wouldn't drive it 2 miles away for a gallon of milk, very dangerous riding the white line, 75% of cars beep at you, zero acceleration. Don't waist your money...my .o2

Get a small used motorcycle instead that will do the speed limit and still get 75mpg

I don't ride at all since I'm too short but you guys seem to have quite a plethora of information that I find really useful.

I recommend jafrum, I bought a Shoei helmet and leather jacket last January. The quality of items is great as well as the shipping service. I also recommend this website to my biker friends and they responded positively about the items.

I had a Yamaha Riva 180 and (until it was stolen) every day was like this:

My brother has a newer Vespa 200 and he has done interstate travel on it. I only took my Riva on the interstate to experiment with top speed (70mph). Around town even my old Riva was plenty peppy and loads of fun. Cheap thrills baby, cheap thrills.

I would like to ride one myself. I also really like that a Cafe-ish style bike has a center-stand

I just sold my Triumph D675. Ill miss her, but Ill own another Triumph some day.





I still have my project bike, an '88 Honda NT650 Hawk GT. I will never sell this one.

About 2 years ago:



Recently:



-CBR600RR front fork
-Ducati 916 rear wheel/brake caliper
-Fox Racing rear shock
-Custom tank; bottom pan from Hawk GT tank, top section from CBR600F2/3, molded to fit frame
-A whole bunch more little parts and a big pile that has yet to go on.

Hopefully once I get the suspension and paintwork all squared away Ill send the engine out for a 700cc build. Its not the fastest bike in the world, but it handles well and its very rare.

I asked earlier about a VFR800 as a starter, but have decided to move down a bit.

Currently am looking at a VFR400R NC24 (not sure if JDM grey market, says speed limiter is removed???) and a Canadian market Yamaha FZR400. Both under 35000 km, and ~$3k.

Anyone have experience or thoughts on these older 400's? I will be signing up for a course reasonably soon.
