Did you find that the final ride height isn't equal on either side?

I forgot which side was higher on mine, but I noticed the difference was close to 5mm between left and right. I've adjusted the ride height to make the ride height equal.

With the minimum 1 inch drop do you need to get a alignment or camber plates or anything. Or is this pretty much a bolt on and go? Will tires wear out much faster with a 1 inch drop or is that to small to make any big changes.

A good rule of thumb is to get an alignment after every change to suspension. Camber plates are up to you but if it's just a street car then I would say that the oem crash bolts are enough. Tires wear out based on the alignment. The only real change you'll see that's not correctable is a little more rear camber but it won't really lead to any significant extra wear. So to sum up, drop one inch, get the camber bolts from a Subaru dealership, get it aligned, and you're good to go.

I wonder if anyone tried, or can't wait till someone tries, different/linear springs on these.
I wonder how/if they'll handle 6k or 7k or 8k springs, OTS. |

( F:120mm R:160mm) [EDIT] after some exciting drivings on mountain roads, I decided to lower rear about 5mm ( from above picture ) . and it is my final height. ^ Looks to me like the highest setting on these is about as low as my Eibach Pro-Kit? Or am I all screwed up?

Just received my bilstein b14 coilovers, ride quality is almost the same as oem. Handles very well on sharp corners and steering is very responsive.

Installed my B14s about 2 months ago and I really like them. I'm still using the OE rubber so the thing wants to drift all the turns. I will upload some pics when I put my cool winter wheels on.
Install was really simple but I did notice that a magnet sticks to the shock. I thought the b14s were stainless? Either way, the silver coating is real pretty and hopefully that alone protects from the upcoming chicago winter.

I do not believe the valving are the same between b14 and b8.
B14 are valved to match the B14/B16 Springs. B8 for lowering springs B6 for OEM springs I personally believe B14 is better for most people due to the fact that when it comes time for rebuilding, it is MUCHH cheaper than the B16 counterpart. Also, you should have higher spring rates than you do with OEM which means it would be better for performance than say B6 with OEM springs, and probably B8 with Lowering Springs.
