Until they have an official release date, I don't give a shit about anything PBM. Myself and one or two others contacted them numerous times with money in hand to buy but we're always just kind of blown off.

I never had any complaints about PBM before but getting this knuckle kit has been like pulling fucking teeth out of a great white during shark week.

I originally contacted them November of last year about this kit when it was still in the R&D phase. 1 year later and numerous emails later, it doesn't seem like they're any closer to releasing it.

I still say the route Slava went is the way to go. Or get some inner tie rods with rack spacers and ditch the sway bar and add FLCAs. About $700 total and you have about 90% of the steering angle MAX offers as well as adjustable front track and caster. The angle that setup provides is about as much as you can realistically use on stock power anyways:

You can have all the steering angle in the world, but if you don't have the power to keep the wheel speed up, it's not going to matter cause you'll just end up losing all of your speed and running shallow ass lines everywhere.

Yea my shit is simple, affordable, and works well for me. Just wish someone made rear knuckles that would drop car an inch or two for an easier way to fix axle angle.

well, like i said these guys are local for me, so as soon as i get my FR-S i will just stop by and bug them about shit haha sometimes they do have delays. but its like any good product people want - not available soon enough and sells out too fast! keep in mind they have no where near the production capability of a big-time company like tanabe or tein, for example.
its basically like if somebody designed stuff in their garage and sent it off for production.
if i can just get a stud welded on my stock LCA i would be happy. for reasons you explained: im not going to be putting down much power since i'm staying NA and the only big power adders i would ever do would be cams and ITB's (and whatever management that would take).

man these deployments suck haha i need to get home and sell the ae86 already!

Not sure but I remember when I talked to Mike Ahso that those tie rods add enough angle to cause end link bind also. So those tie rods plus removing the front bar and end links will give you a pretty good jump in angle. I'd say about the same amount Slava has now on his car.

Another question for all the suspension gurus.

I want to run more track on the front but I'm already running spacers and the Raver X front LCA's maxed out. I contacted RXF and they can make me an extended custom set of LCA's that will push the hub out another 20/30 odd mm. Do you guys think this is an good idea?

The tie rod may need a spacer or a longer one to reach. Not sure about sway bar end link either.

I have Hardrace tie rods and have my sway bar disconnected.

Nah, I'd leave it as is. Maybe get some extended wheel studs and slip on spacers if you really need it.

The hard race/Megan tie rods aren't any longer than stock so if you keep going further out on the LCA, then you might not be able to get the alignment back into spec.

Not sure why you'd want to go further though lol. You running like -6 camber and still flush yeah?

It's not encouraged but a couple pops on the limiter isn't really anything to worry about.

I heard the car has a pretty aggressive cut when it hits the limiter. I think the OFT and other tuners make it a "softer" rev limiter to where it doesn't cut so harshly.

If you're worried, just up shift next time lol

I'm not saying its okay or that nothing but will happen to your engine, but I used to bounce off my rev limiter all the damn time. Like 10 seconds straight multiple times a drift day.

The cut is really hard, accidentally hit it the other day during a controlled pull. I tried to push the up shift as close to the red line as possible, and got to it a split second too late. Car cut all throttle immediately and bucks pretty hard, a little alarming as I didn't know what to expect, but seems the car cuts out throttle before any damage can be done. I wouldn't worry too much about hitting it infrequently.
