So I have two questions:

1. I've been using Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax and the problem I have is dust. For the next couple weeks after I wax, my car picks up every little of dust in the air. Living in Phoenix there's just no way to get away from it. Is there another wax or sealant that I can use that would not be such a dust magnet?

2. I had a couple water spots that sat too long on my car and it seems they have discolored my paint. I tried using traditional car shampoo but it is not coming out. Is this possibly clear coat damage that I'll have to live with? Or is this something I can attempt to fix with a DA buffer and compound?

@DetailersDomain

Question:
Is there any downside to only doing a waterless wash with a detail spray every week instead of the actual soap and water method?

I just did the math and it would work out to me spending about $1.50 in materials to wash my car waterlessly per week versus how much it would cost to use water and soap. My motive isn't to save money, it's to save time.

Is there any harm in giving up the water and soap method forever? I still wax my car every other week or so as well.

Thanks

@DetailersDomain

You had previously recommended Leather Master Foam Cleaner for the BRZ Limited's interior. It looks like this isn't available on your site anymore. Do you recommend against using it for any reason now? Anything better you're replacing it with?

Nice. Do you recommend that for the leather too or just the alcantara?

Hey Detailers Domain,

I need some suggestions. My apartment car port and parking lot gets dusty. I don't have the space or access to do my own car wash.

Is the any process or products I can purchase to have my car looking fresh and clean.

Also any suggestions on car covers?

Thank you

I have same problem. I think it's from the landscapers. I get a layer of like saw dust on my car right after washing it. Mine is asphalt

The Color is Galaxy Blue. It doesn't get dirty enough that needs a complete wash, just gets dusty from landscapers and other cars driving by.

Thanks.
