Well worth it though!

Hat tip to @Dave-ROR for the help!
I replaced all the bearings/hubs in my '06 Legacy and they were rusted on so bad no amount of hammering, PB Blaster, or torch would get them out. I ended up having to buy new steering knuckles for the fronts.

I ended up taking a hammer to the old bearing... Aim it at the back of the hub (the rotating part with the studs). That said, I also soaked it in PB blaster.

Ah jeez... Didn't see you tried the hammer... That sucks... Do you live somewhere with proper winters?

Just put an order for my Sti front lip and side skirts straight from Subaru (got it for cost) but it won't be in until December 10th

The wait begins.

Got tired of burning oil type smells, looked under hood, and oh...well would you look at that cam plate is leaking. Guess I'll be needing to fix that, don't really want to take it to the dealer.

Ordered Blizzak LM-32 snows to go on my stockers. Need to find a place and schedule powder coating for my summer wheels.

You could buy those raceseng cam plates and not worry about oil leaks and smells instead of wasting time going to the dealer

Its hard to part with the cash, but yeah I probably will order that so I don't have to worry about it again. Definitely don't want the dealer mucking about with my car. Thanks for the suggestion!

Yeah if money's a problem, then maybe dealer is good enough for a temp fix until you can get that cam plate. Makes sense to not let your dealer mechanics touch you pride and joy.

Dealer put in a new fuel pump and lines - chirp gone! Had the car for 2 years and the chirp started this July at 1,500 miles.
