LOL...with so many levels of "off", has anyone documented all the different ways to do this, and the varying degrees of traction control "off"?

All the ways to "turn off" is all over the forums. The pedal dance is usually for confident trackrats, and the rest we should already know

It's pretty uninterrupted until the ecu sees a lot of slippage then the traction light flickers.

The pedal dance will change electronic brake force distribution and ice mode braking. The car will rotate better especially under braking, but it literally is almost all nannies off, just basic ABS at that point.

I use it for auto x and lapping, and would probably use it if I was on ghost lake as well.

The Tom's don't clear four pots though either...

But after a couple days of this shit, my car can stay in hiding. Bought some studs for my truck.

I remember WRX very fondly...

Best winter car I have ever owned, feels a little floaty in a straight line but stopping and turning are great.

I need a skidplate real bad though.

How is everyone finding the grip out there? I've got my Nokian Hak R's on but they're near end of life and didn't seem all that impressive today. Debating buying new tires now.

If Kyle can get Nokians he's guaranteed to get my money.

I'm tired of Kal Tire goons scratching my rims.

Kyle can get them as well as anyone else. They still go thru kaltire. Just buy the tires from kaltire or Kyle get someone to mount them etc.
If you buy it from Kyle, speed options will mount. (He subcontracts SO as a partner)

I've ordered Nokians through work as well, we just have to buy them from Kal Tire.

I've never tried Nokians before (mostly cuz they cost an arm and a leg), but I have tried most other brands. Personally, I think the best overall Winter tire is Dunlop (I forget the specific model). Though they aren't as good on pure ice and snow as Blizzaks, but they are much better in wet and have less wear in the dry.
If you don't get Nokians, I'd recommend a good set of Dunlops!
