Saving more lunch/allowance money should take care of that.

Are you getting as tired as I am of having to explain this every time someone asks about your car? I almost want to get a sign made up that says "Yes, I paid for it," or something like that.

Haha yeah, that might be a good idea. That's the one thing that I don't like about this car looking much more expensive than it actually is, people think differently about you before they know any real information.

Although I have never had anybody do anything to the car, I got really sick of hearing "must be nice to make that kind of money" and "wow they pay you too much" for a couple of weeks at work. Even my boss who got his $52K pickup a week before me said "I guess I have to check what we are paying you". Now, many of these guys were joking, but some were not, and even after explaining the car was only $30K and there is a such thing as financing they kept it up. It started to wear thin after a while and I eventually just quit answering.

Mostly nice compliments, but I live in a gated community across from a elementary school. My complex is always full by 4pm. I get home around 6-7pm from work and my parent use the garage so I park across at the school. The owners of the complex have a written agreement with the school saying we can park there overnight due to overcrowding as long as the cara are moved out by 7am. I move it out every morning on time, but a couple times I'll find these stickers on my windows with Dr. Suess saying "excellent reader" or something like that. And I also had one of those big gulp sodas from 7-11 dumped on my car. Rude teachers...
