Sport VSC in Manual?

Alright I understand the purpose of the sport vsc in the automatic by what I had read on other forums but nobody has explained what the point of that mode is in the manual model. There are 2 of the same button right next to each other assuming they are both just traction control buttons. What is the difference between the normal traction control button and SPORT MODE.

The Traction Off button (Left button) doesn't do anything if you just press it once. You have to hold it down for 10 seconds in order for traction and stability control to be almost completely turned off.

VSC Sport (right button) lets the car slide more. It either turns off or makes the stability control system more lenient to slides. Traction control is still on.

Ah. Well that's not exciting at all. I was hoping Sport mode would do a bit more than enable me to drift better, lol.

Actually the traction off turns off the traction control up to 30 mph. Incase you are trying to get the car free of snow or something. This is exactly what the owners manual says. Also holding it for 5 seconds turns it off at all speeds.

I was under the impression that pressing the TRAC OFF button once was for hard launches. And it turns off after a certain speed.

Somebody that actually reads the manual before posting a question.
I am impressed!!!!
I sometimes think people forget how to read unless they have a screen glowing in front of them (says the guy with the screen glowing in front of him for about 10 hours a day)
OH, pages 174 to 176 for the rest of you guys.
