Got full Blue Book on a two year old car with 112000 miles on it, broken bumper (unfortunate incident with a duck in the middle of the road) and more paint chips than stars in the milky way. They originally were going to give me $2000 under Blue Book until I walked away. Honestly I would have taken the lesser amount and been happy with it as it was actually pretty fair to start with.
Was all things I would have got later and had to pay out of pocket.
Free was tint, full clear bra, opticoat and Scion spoiler. Got TRD springs, exhaust and intake for $1500. When you consider the exhaust alone is $1175 I did pretty good.
All in all it was the same as getting about $7000 off the price of the car.
I was happy, they were happy, we all were happy! Except the wife who in hindsight I probably should have warned before buying.
These are Canada prices remember so everybody chill with the "ripped off" comments.

Ha! Been there done that one. In 1985 I went to my local Toyota dealer to take delivery on what was supposed to be a black Toyota Forerunner that my wife and I had fallen love with. It looked exactly like this:

When I got there, there was a car carrier that had on it a car I had not heard of, but the second I saw it I knew I had to have it. It looked like exactly like this:

I made a deal on the spot, but forgot to call my wife. She was a tad bit aggetated but in the end it was my car so she forgave me, well after I bought here the 1983 Z28 with Targa conversion she had been wanting. I still feel I got the better part of the deal.

How's it going everyone, my name is Josh and I bought a 2015 Lava Scion FRS about 10 days ago. Already got some 1in lowering springs on it for the winter, getting coilovers in March. Should be getting wheels in Monday (hopefully). I have a few other small mods, waiting on license plates. But I live in Olympia

Lava seems to be making a come back lately.

HI, my name is Juan and I am a GLADIATOR....JK

Just bought a used 2013 Scion FR-S Auto with 26K miles. Came here for knowledge and LOLz....

I am older but I bought the car for my 18 year old son. I have owned a lot of cars and can't remember a car as fun to drive as the FR-S is.

We also own a serious street outlaw named Medusa. I am on several other Chicago based forums like thechicagogarage.com, chicagolandmustang.com, and racingjunk.com.

Long time lurker, first time poster here. Looking to get a FRS hopefully before the time turns into 2015. Definitely trying to get a FRS RS 1.0. Looking to get it in auto since I'm going to make it a daily driver and my commute sucks, but at the same I want to go to events like 86Fest. Will I get looked down at those places for brining in an automatic FRS?

Nobody will care. The few that do are probably losers who care more about what others have than what they have. I had a MT car and got this one in auto because stop and go sucks and I'm in that 90 percent of the time so don't sweat it

Just point out that you can shift in "semiautomatic" by using the paddles just like F1s.

Thanks, the closest Toyota Dealer said that they are getting a FRS RS 1.0 both in auto and manual by the end of the month. I wanted to make this my first manual car, but the auto also intices me because what I planned to do with the car regardless of transmission type. I also picked up a copy of the FRS Tuning magazine that the Editors at Super Street, Import Tuner, and Modified all came up.
