BRZ is a Subaru and FRS is a Toyota. Two totally different cars.

I believe the chirping fuel pump, leaking taillights, peeling steering wheel, squealing windows and TO bearing, lack of camber adjustability, feeble horn and cheap stereo are all Subarus doing/cost cutting.

People here swear that spec sheets and other objective data dont make a car what it is and then they will still make threads like this. the mona lisa isnt a collaboration between some guy who made canvas and some guy who made paint. there is more to things than the sum of its parts.

So I guess I can write a thank you note to Toyota for the windows?

Really looking forward to another winter of stuck windows!

But, the cruise control stalk looks and functions identically to the one in my ex-wife's 96 Impreza!

It's also exactly the same as the cruise control stalk in the Camry I rented last week.

Interesting. Maybe the whole project started because Toyota and Subaru already use the same cruise control stalk and wondered what if they built a whole shared car around it.

TPMS system is Toyota. But that likely follows from the ECU being Toyota-sourced.
