Rosberg & Hamilton possibly having transmission problems? Nico's last lap 5 seconds off. Both had radio transmissions that were very hard to understand due to the audio problems NBCSN is having. Sounds like they are in a trash can with an echo and it's horrible. Both said something about downshifts.....guess we'll have to see how this plays out if it's actually anything at all. Both are at the top of the charts with Hamilton P1 and in the garage on jackstands. Nico still on track. Hamilton P1 by 3/1000. Nico still 5+ secs. behind at end of practice.

hmm, maybe Nico was doing a long run stint, which could explain the fact that he's 5 seconds off the best time. I didn't get a chance to watch the practice so correct me if I'm wrong.

Bernie at his best:

Asked if he felt that F1 needed small teams, Ecclestone replied: “We need them if they are going to be there performing properly and not moving around with begging buckets."

Plus now he hates the sound of the engines......uh, could that be in part of Australia saying they may not renew for next year because of the lack of the old engine sounds?

Ah boy.............things might get interesting tomorrow (Sunday).

One of the top racing officials at Sahara Force India says up to three teams are considering a boycott or pulling out after one lap of Sunday's U.S. Grand Prix to protest the financial gap behind the sport's richest teams in Formula One. Bob Fernley, deputy team principal for Sahara Force India said Saturday it would a difficult decision left up to the team owners. Fernley said either scenario is ''not off the table.'' Fernley identified the other two teams as Sauber and Lotus.

This was definitely one of the more interesting races of the year. Wish I would've gone, but that'll be an adventure for next year I guess. Glad to see Hamilton get his tenth win of the season though.

I enjoyed the race a lot for my first race. I just wish I had money to ball out and make Formula 1 attendance a hobby.

I wanna see a Monaco race now.

Race was good live. Good to see my boy take the win. Met a cool FR-S 10 Series driver on the bus who liked my "The World is Flat" Blipshift shirt.

I think the cars definitely sound better in person but still not as good as the old days.
COTA is beautiful but I can't believe with all the money coming in they can't pave all the walkways. Crazy.

F1 Championship comes down to Abu-Dhabi in 2 weeks. Hamilton will have to win the race to win the championship as he finished 2nd to Rosberg in Brazil today. 17 point separation with the last race paying out double points, so Lewis is going to have to win it to be champion......and he's won 10 races this year.

Great race though, i'm bummed my boy Hamilton didn't win, but it was an exciting race.

Me too. Who can forget how he was once Champion for a few seconds on the last lap of the Brazilian GP, only to lose it to Hamilton.

LH can actually afford a P2 and keep the championship 370-367...but Nico needs a P1 or he's pretty much done for. If Nico finished P2 Lewis can afford to finish 4th. But we all know it's gonna be a Merc 1-2 (so long as the cars make it to the checkered flag)...
