Who manufactured your film and how is it? Trying to decide if I should go brand name like 3M or if the eBay stuff will do.

I posted the amazon link for mine a page back.. super cheap, I don't think it's 3M.

With my heat gun, I would heat for just 1 second and it would turn into jello. A hairdryer might work for this unlike most vinyls.

To be honest, the benefit to the cheap stuff is the cost. It's really not "fun".. I wasted almost my entire roll the first night and was very stressed out, I just could not make it work. Youtube videos make it look effortless.

The most important part is covering as much as you can on the first go without bubbles. So choose the flattest surface, and slowly hold one end up and let it fall down while using your other hand to keep it flat. Then once you have a good base, you can start heating and stretching.

Also, this cheap stuff didn't work well with a "spreader".. I generally held one section up with my hand, and used my finger to go back and forth, laying it on flat.

Then for corners, heat up and stretch over them.

---- cliffs -- to answer your question, 3M might be less prone to wrinkling when heated. Imagine holding a shirt with one hand, and stretching with the other, you get all kinds of wrinkles. This is what made it hard, you gotta be very patient or have 3 hands.

On MPSS, I believe.
Actually, I had recently purchased a set of Continental ExtremeContact when I wore out the MPSS. I had to take the stockers in to get aired up and balanced, found out there was no hazard protection on my purchase. I know I asked for it, but kind of my fault for not going over the invoice completely. It was a bro hookup, so the receipt was kind of confusing since my buddy did some kind of magic to get me a good price on the tires. Either way, I know they'll take care of me as far as tires.

It's the wheels that are a bummer. If a repair isn't really cheap, it won't be worth it. I have to also factor in another $100/ea to get recoated if I actually want them to not look like crap.

There is a fire station on the same street, I stopped there and let them know about the road hazard and they called the after hours contact from the City. My girlfriend dropped me off to take pics and I tried to fix the cover but it was wedged really good. As we were leaving, another car ran right over it and trashed both driver's side tires as well. FUN TIMES! I'll have pics up tonight or tomorrow in my thread.

I'll be keeping my eyes open for good deals on 17x9s...

Sucks, but the city should (and will if informed/threatened) cover it.

First time I bothered logging a drive with my OFT. 0.9 IAM on Sunoco 93 octane. It gets 1.0 IAM on WaWa 92 octane, says a lot about Sunoco's gas quality here...

Oh well, a degree or so of timing pulled at WOT isn't exactly enough to worry about.

I don't have to worry about any holes. Mine didn't have a spoiler to begin with.

Anyone have any idea why this happens?

The left isn't blocked, but somehow only the right gets dirty.

Maybe just the flow of the catback?

Nice, at least they didn't drill your bumper.
