Wheel Directory: Advan RG-D 18x8.0 +45
![]() Ran into this beautiful GT86 at Fuji Speedway yesterday. One thing I found interesting was that both the front and rear fenders were rolled. Considering the specifications of the wheels and tires were not that aggressive I was rather surprised. Anyways, I hope everyone enjoys the pictures.

Brakes are *lost* in there! Aside from that, looks sweet...
I'd sooner go with 225/50-16s on smaller, lighter wheels, though. |

Nice
Don't know if this still holds, but last time I checked the fenders were being rolled from factory

Normally not a fan of putting 18s on a car this small and light but that does look good. Of course the extra weight is going to hurt performance but if "looKs" is your thing then that is a good look.

There are plenty of 18" rims that are lighter than the stock 17".

225/45-17 25"OD = 25lbs 225/40-18 25.1"OD= 23lbs 2lbs saved by going to a 18" rim Dunlop Z1* 225/45-17 = 26lbs 225/40-18 = 25lbs 1lb saved Hoosier A6: 225/45-17 = 21lbs 225/40-18 = 20lbs 1lbs saved You're going to gain weight when you upgrade from the stock tires to better, grippier tires regardless. But it's possible to keep the overall weight close to stock. |
