"Attempted" to cover interior trim in CF vinyl.

I've done tail lights "on the car".. but this is crazy hard with the piece in my lap, heat gun in one hand. and stretched vinyl in the other.

Anyone have tips for this piece? I'm struggling with corners. I initially tightened horizontally and vertically... which leaves a nasty crease to stretch in corners. I then stretched the crease out, then I'm left with another crease top/bottom/sides. Recurring cycle of stretching around the whole thing

This was a test piece. I stretched and pulled so much it wouldn't adhere around the edges anymore.

I gave up on vinyl and just plastidipped it...
Try not to aim the heat gun at the piece while it's on your lap.
Accidents can happen.....

I'm actually waiting for a nice day off to remove my taillights and try to vinyl wrap them - it seems pretty difficult to do it al in one piece, so I'll probably cut it into 2 or 3 separate pieces.

That looks great though - still dunno why they didn't do that stock (even the Celica had it).
Hard install?

FTFY

As for what I did with my BRZ today, ran over the smashed carcass of a deer, coating the underside of my car in blood and guts. Need to find a proper wash rack so I get it cleaned up. It's pretty gross, especially with the diffuser.

Other than removing the rear deck, not at all.
