Haven't seen anyone chime in from California about receiving their VIN. Hoping it's on this boat coming in Richmond, CA. ETA 05/08/12
http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/shi...mmsi=356972000 And subies do for sure come in through Richmond, CA Last edited by hapa_kcm; 05-04-2012 at 05:06 PM. |

Nothing here in Bay Area. Nothing but silence from the dealer.

I'm really surprised that nobody in Cali has heard anything, I thought most of you guys would be the first ones to get cars, not random dealers in the midwest, lol. Something doesn't add up...

I think it makes perfect sense. If you want somewhat uniform roll-out nationwide, you ship the ones that take longest to deliver first. The next shipment then goes to the ones that are closer to the port. |

Also consider the first shipment seems to be all automatics.

So many threads on the same topic it's hard to tell. I do now see a couple of posts with VIN/ETA that are MTs but I've still seen more with AT's and lots being told by dealers either that the first shipment is all AT's or mostly AT's which would seem and oddly specific detail for them to make up.
Mine is on its way though and that's all thats really important right?

Yeah, that would make sense if they were going to all roll out at the same time. Even if a ship docked in Cali tomorrow I think they'd have a hard time clearing port and being at west coast dealers before the end of this month. At least based on how long it's taken the ones so far to clear port.
