Has anyone had any problems with FBM's Aluminum fan shroud and slim fans yet? Thinking of buying it with their oil cooler here in a few weeks. I'll probably look into spacing the rad/condensoor/fans forward a inch like @toekneehair did. Don't think I'll attempt shortening the charge pipes though, just want to aid in keep the fans unmelted.

I have their spal fans. The base fans died and they upgraded me for a deal. I heat taped the backs of the fan motors and spaced the radiator forward over an inch. It's slammed against the back of my headlights now.

I'm running the FB radiator and Spal fans and shroud, and I also moved my radiator forward for the extra clearance.
Fans are set to turn on at really low temps so they basically run all the time. This has been working great for me, temps are normal and stable. |

Hey guys,
My car just died on me this morning and won't restart. I let it idle up to about 120 degrees oil and 160 degrees F coolant. Left for work, and once I hit a main road, it died. I opened the hood, and there is water dripping out of the elbow intake tube where there is a little plug. It's a fairly constant drip but I'm pretty sure it isn't coolant or any other fluid the car uses. How could that much condensation be getting into my intake tube? I didn't drive my car the most of this weekend and it has been very cold this weekend (30-50 degrees F). Thoughts?

Maybe pull the itake pipe off to check and see if there's a noticeable amount of water in there.

Wow. That's alot of water. That also means the maf is leaking. Why don't you remove the pipe and see if you hydrolocked your engine?
