It's gotten to the point where games need to be "worth it" for him. The guy had 2 years to rest. 2 YEARS! But people think he needs more rest? Heck lets sit him out until the playoffs. While we're at it, lets sit him next year too. Then he'll be 300% ! The people that think he's above criticism are getting on my last nerves. If Jay Cutler pulled this nonsense, he'd get crucified. But since it's Derrick Rose he gets special treatment. Bulls need to just play him. If he injures himself, so be it. Being overly careful with him hasn't won the Bulls anything.

In his defense he had two major injuries in the last two years and just injured both his ankles. I don't think healing and rehab necessarily count as "rest" as you put it. I will agree it is frustrating to not see him play for so long but the Bulls will make the playoffs regardless.

Use up your superstar on forgettable season games, only to have a potentially worse injured player during playoffs, or follow the Spurs' (time-tested) strategy of sitting out star players until playoffs and have some well rested superstars?

At this point, if D. Rose plays a game or two every week, I'd be happy
