Haha, oh man, what has to be going through that guys head... I can just see it now, walking back to the dealership, dropping off the keys: "Thanks, left it at the corner of 83rd and Main. Gotta go!"

Doesn't make it any better, but at least it wouldn't have been a model sold later.
They're not having the media drive it around a circuit, but potential customers.
It will be a full production model.

Who let Crash Bandicoot in the drivers seat?

Anyway, now all I want to see is the aftermath.

Why do I feel like, in a few years time...
Cost to insure a Porsche 911 = MSRP of an FR-S
Cost to insure an FR-S = MSRP of a Porsche 911.

Please, please, please god, let this vehicle get a reputation as a "secretary's car", or let the lack of horsepower dissuade all the morons amongst us. I vow right here and now that when I get into discussions with others about cars, and they say, "200 hp? Man, that thing is too slow!" then I shall reply, "You're right... it is a slow car. Why did I ever buy one..."

The more kid seat pictures, the easier it is going to be to convince my "better" half that I can have this car.

Good to know. But wouldn't you just make your daughter sit behind the passenger seat instead?

I'll crash one for ya, just sent it on over.
I just have to warn you it may take me a while (3-4 years at least).

Both kids are mine. Wanted to make sure biggest fits (worst case scenario). She's almost in a booster which will make it a hell of a lot easier. Wife is shorter than me anyway.

That is pretty much the smallest profile/safest car seat you can buy. It also weighs more than the whole backseat. :P

Rear facing, no way unless you don't have a front passenger.
