Go home OFT you're drunk

Source: http://datazap.me/u/pantsdants/10-30...om=15625-16323

It looks like I intermittently lost connectivity between the car and OFT while driving up a hill on the freeway. Either that or my car is going to explode. This is the only spot in the log where this occurred, and I didn't notice the car acting weird at any time while I was logging. Any ideas? Is it just a loose wire in one of the plugs?

OFT is on latest firmware and template file. Tune is a tweaked version of the OFT ESC 91 octane map.

What the! Also notice that your MAF voltage goes to zero around the time of the drunk readings. Oddly enough, near the end you were still getting reasonable engine load readings even though the logs say you had a MAF voltage of zero. What this tells me is that the MAF sensor is probably still working even when logging 0 because it plays a big part in engine load. Must be a cable connection or a problem of the like. Probably nothing under the hood.

Have you check all the connectors on the MAF sensor?

You can see RPM dropping out as well. OFT may have had a loose connection, hopefully it's nothing serious

Have you solved this problem? I'm having the same problem, car runs 'great', but MAF voltage is reporting zero

Kind of? I have an extension cable plugged onto the OBD port at all times; I just pressed up on it firmly and the drop-outs I was seeing haven't come back since. Our OBD plugs feel super flimsy so be careful with that though.
