In my experience, a targa is less likely to leak than T-Tops or sunroofs (easier to seal since it is only two relatively straight edges, the window edges would seal the same as they do now into the roof).

Plus leaking adds character...

If Toyota doesn't build this by MkII, I will never buy another Toyota again.

There, that ought to fix it...

Thanks, I think we established that early on in the thread, but that doesn't mean we wouldn't love to see it coming straight from the factory!

I'd take it either way, but since it doesn't look like Cartel Customs plans on building it either, we have to dream.

Me too! With factory turbo/supercharger!
But I can hear it on here already:
1) It's too heavy
2) It ruins the beautiful lines
3) Why are people "gloating" that they have one
4) The turbo/super should have been bigger, or smaller, or whatever wasn't on it
5) It makes weird air rush noises through the top
6) Should have come stock with "better" rims
7) Should (or should not) have come in a special colour
8) Where can we get just the exhaust, diffuser, garnishes, etc
9) People are morons for wanting just the exhaust, diffuser, garnishes, etc
10) Whole car is junk because the stereo doesn't sound good
11) Should have been a full convert
12) Should have been a tee top
13) should never have been made as it is not true to the spirit

After reading your post, the scene in Iron Man 2 where Robert Downey says "I want one" after fighting Scarlett Johansson in the boxing ring popped up in my head.

Anybody else?

All I want is the targa + the front + rear seat delete. Screw the rest. The front bumper kind of looks like the apr gt bumper but wider... hmm..

I could do without the rear seat delete. It's not necessary to carry the top, and I actually do use my rear seats on occasion. Still, I wouldn't pass it up if that was the only configuration.
