Man I spent way too long deciding on turbo vs SC, and then deciding which kit I wanted, but I finally ordered mine earlier today. Can't wait!

Thanks for all the info in this thread. The JRSC kit really seems like the best one for a DD.

You might want to lower the angle of the air filter slightly so that it's roughly parallel with the charge pipe. This will prevent it from touching the hood

@CSG Mike

I remenber chat about a CBE not doing much performance-wise... With that being said, will there be any issues with my JR Kit and CARB Tune if I put my stock CBE back on?

I want to go a different route on my exhaust and plan to sell my Perrin 2.5" (non-resonsated) CBE.

Thanks!

The CARB tune was developed on the stock exhaust. You will be fine.

Catback exhaust (mid pipe and axleback) and overpipe/joint pipe are fine to change. Do not, I repeat, do not modify the primary AND secondary catalytic converters on the CARB tune. In otherwords, your standard CBE exhausts that you see all over the place, those are fine to use.

On another note, we installed a MXP dual exhaust on a client's car and the fitment was so modular and easy to work with that it's definitely something people should look into. Sound quality is quite good too!

Wait, I though axelback needed a retune? And only cat back was fine on the carb tune?

Why would a catback be ok but not an axleback?

Thanks!

I'm actually leaning towards a full Tomei set-up. Keep it light and the same brand.

Tomei EL Header + Tomei OP + Tomei test pipe + 60S

It will be loud, but I want the performance now. I'm done with doing a "look" thing... LOL!

I dunno, I thought I'd read that somewhere before in this thread.
