I can't even remember if it was white or not. it was a while ago. I just remember hearing it.

Well it's been a delay but work has me heading south to Atlanta. Going to be there in January to start to look for houses and then moving the family out probably in the March time frame.

I am currently in Portland, OR. So big move and change of things for us, but looking forward to the adventure and meeting some fellow BRZ/FRS owners.

Here is my BRZ currently:

Great looking car you've got there! Good luck on the move!
The plus side is you'll gain Road Atlanta and AMP.
The down side, pretty much everything else lol.

Does anybody know of a good area to teach an inexperienced driver some driving tips. Like a closed or not busy road where a person can go up and down the road with minimal distractions. I'm trying to teach my fiance how to drive on her own and want to give her a safe environment where she can really learn the ins and outs of her car (mini cooper). Any recommendations are appreciated. BTW I'm around the Marietta area.

Is she learning stick shift, also? I don't know the area much, but pick an empty parking lot at first. Then a quiet residential area.

Yea, I think it would depend on what she is trying to learn. I tought all three of my sons to learn in a high school and/or church parking lot. Find a big one on an "off" day, and there are lots of made to learn opportunities, including parking, straight line acceleration and braking, obstacles, etc.

We would then head out for some road work through some quiet neighborhoods. I live in Powder Springs so there are a decent of rural roads there. You are probably going to have to go west or north if you are in the Marietta "metro" area.

Well she has an automatic mini and is just not comfortable with the "feel" of driving. We work late shifts so she has been able to drive on riverside Dr off of 285, if you are familiar with the road, but her comfort levels are still not good. What I would want to teach her are the limits of her car and just kind of let her "go crazy." My first thought was a track but that would be suicide with other experienced drivers zipping passed. I really want her to open the car up so she can get a feel for the limits of the car and can get more comfortable with it.
