They lost any hope of that last night when Randle went down.

Fuck this season. Hopefully Kobe just does whatever the fuck he wants - dime passes, ridiculous post ups, getting his ankles broken. Idc, it's the LA Bryants now.

Also, Nick Young vs Kobe Bryant for who can make the most ridiculous shot every night would be one of the only reasons I watch my team this season lol.

It's been that way for quite some time now.

Dissappointed that my Mavs lost last night. It looks like they picked up right where they left off pushing the champs to the brink of defeat. Can't wait when the team chemistry starts to click.

There's been some glimmer of hope for a few seasons - injuries, team chemistry needed time to develop, new coach, owner learning how to gtfo the way. But at this point, they've had enough time, they've had enough reflection, it's just bad luck and shittiness at this point. Unfortunately, Kobe will retire with his 5 rings and probably not another playoff game.

As for the Mavs, I was really hoping they would beat the Spurs. They're consistently underrated, whereas the Spurs are finally getting their (due) respect.. somewhat.

I agree with you but it's a yes and no with the Spurs.. They are still underdogs when it comes to comparing them to lebrons team(both when he was with Miami and even now). To me I don't see anyone taking the Spurs down in the west come play off bball. There just too good of a team come crunch time. I'm curious to see how far the Wizards and suns will go this year tho. Ther both pretty exciting teams to watch.

Cavs are the new Heat - mega stars that have a lot expected of them.

Spurs play classic basketball. Most fans these days are used to Jordan/Kobe highlight reels and thus have limited appreciation for team ball, so they're consistently ignored until they magically end up in the WCF.

Suns are interesting, but I'm more interested in Portland and the Wizards. John Wall gets slept on so much it's ridiculous.

He carried that team into the playoffs and through as much as he could.

We should start a betting pool of how many games it takes for D*Rose to break something on his body and basically Greg Oden his career.
