Hey guys been on this thread for a while and been following the FRS since concept form. Anyways, Im pretty close to Toyota since I've been working for them for about 5 years now. College Student and about to graduate. Looking at FRS a car that i might want to get when I graduate. Happy to be here

Thanks for asking!
2002 WRX, love it! But wouldn't likely buy a 2.5 liter turbo if I was replacing it due to the fuel cost. It is just overkill for my daily driver. I really hope the new WRX is a 2.0L again and lighter than the GRs.

If not I will be in the market for a RWD car like the BRZ or Genisis. Still waiting to see if my girls will fit in the back of a BRZ...

Take care!

New excited future owner

Hey all, Just wanted to say hi. I see many here have their BRZ/FR-S already on order. I've chosen to wait till next year to let toyobaru work out any kinks but I'm very excited to get one. I've been waiting for something that was neither a Miata or an S2k and this is it.

I currently drive an Accord coupe that I've played with but I want to get an FR-S as a play car and a really good platform for modding, which it appears to be.

Welcome - You picked the right place to follow us brave "beta testers" with the first cars off the line - hopefully we aren't filling up the Repairs Subforum with threads anytime soon.

Welcome to the forums! You seem to be spot on with the overall idea of the car which is something we appreciate. Looking forward to your contributions.

Hello all! I'm skoodge (just a name i've been using for years) I have owned a 2009 370z and now drive a 2011 Mustang V6 Premium. I've been lurking for a few weeks and decided to register. I'm really excited about the FR-S and intend to trade in for one once they're available. I'm kind of bored with straight lines and red-light shootouts so I want to get into an FR-S to enjoy the enthusiast end of things rather than keep on dragging and end up with a decaying car from abuse. Looking to get an FR-S in either the Asphalt or Whiteout. (Maybe even the hot lava, but I'd have to see it first) Happy to be aboard!

Hello, felt like coming out from my lurking corner to say hi. I'm 22 currently living in upstate New York and I've been hooked on any news i can find about this car ever since the FT-86 II concept came out. I'm finishing my last year of college and hopefully in a year or two i'll be able to get this as a second car to compliment my old Civic DD. Until then i will stay at my post and watch as everyone has fun with their FRS/BRZs!

Hello! Been lurking all this time but wanted to say hello to all. Some of you may know me from the other forums....camryman, solaraguy, toyotanation, tundrasolutions, my.is, ct200hforums, lexusfforums, and of course clublexus. Hope to share info and insight with you all and am excited about the Toyota 86/Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ platform. This car reminds me of the time when the Altezza/IS200/300 came to market more than 10 years ago. It's an exciting time for Toyota/Scion and of course Subaru!

Hey everyone! I am new to the Forum but been following this car for a while now. I am looking forward to owning one, and cant wait to slide it. I was pretty active in the 5series.net but sold my beast and awaiting my next toy to mod(FR-S)! I already have huge plans for it, and I hope to run into the OC group in the near future!
