I mean, I have no real issue going with RPF1s, but I do prefer the styling of the other brands (I also want the wheels in white).

thoughts? RPF1-and-forget-about-it?
Edit: Ignore what I wrote before. Forget OE wheels were 17x7 for a second. It's been a looonnnng day at work. haha

Update: They apparently dropped the price to $1,100 today. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=76329

I really wish I had the money to pick those up! haha

can't run 7.5 in stock

if we could, it would be a non issue, as there are vastly more choices of quality wheels in 17x7.5

Are the Kosei K1's available in useful offsets in a 7" wheel? I like the look of them a lot more than the K4's.

It is my understanding that they are no longer made NEW in a 5X100 bolt pattern

and that you can get them in 17x7 but only if you drive a bimmer

I know they made 5x100 YEARS ago (in good fitment for 1st gen neons), but I couldn't find them in FRS fitment when I was wheel shopping about two years ago.

According to TireRack both the K1 and K4R are available in 17x7 5-100, but they are a +50 offset :/

It's not a big deal. They're the lightest wheel and there are no clearance issues. Run eBay 5mm spacers if you're having issues with a higher offset.

Stock with the primacy vs the rpf1 with 235 ZII's was about 3lbs savings per corner.

Well we had another event yesterday despite the low 40 degree temperatures. The course design was awesome IMO and probably one of my favorites this year. My results however were only so so. Paxed 45/118 and finished 4/8 in my class. Lost to a RX-8 with a very skilled driver, a 370z that must of had like 5 reruns lol and 350z that had a coolant leak which resulted in him missing some runs and running back to back to back in a 2 driver car. I honestly feel like I was being too easy with the car in fear of it snapping due to weather. We might have one even left depending on the weather but 2015 is going to be fun based on the local competition we have here. I am still bone stock with an alignment and 215 Rs-3. Car is very Neutral I just need to wheel the damn thing better.

Everyone has said the RS3s fall off fast when it gets cold and my limited experience agrees. It's a bummer but at least it's still fun.

I'd have to agree just from street driving my R-S3s. There is next to zero traction until I've put a few miles on them to warm them up a little.

ZIIs worked much better in cold temperatures, not sure about Star Specs though.
