Andd me telling Hunter what I felt was suitable. Now, I'll continue to post. But the next message is me threatening a police rwport, to where someone on Facebook said it wouldn't bide well for your college admissions if you were involved in any legal trouble. At which point hunters father took over, and is assisting me with warranty claims.. and said Hunter would refund me... Which he hasn't yet

Hard to tell if there is any warping, but I could see just the heat of the bulb and some sun being enough to warp some cheap plastic. The logo on those tails looks just like the logo on the ones on your car though. Nice to see @Frs300 is involved in this. I can hit Brandon up and get more info on what he remembers. My guess is this was some posts on the Southeast86 FB group or one of the other bazillion Facebook groups.

The real take away from this is don't buy Buddy Club tails. Don't buy them used, and don't buy them new. I don't think either of you are scammers. I think you each had expectations of these tails, and both of your expectations were not met. How much did the OP pay for used tails?

Also in these pics it shows where Hunter told me his friend bought them new from Amazon for him, when I asked about any warranty or purchase info. As he was selling new, Mint, perfect products. Second picture is his friend telling me how Hunter sold me fucked up used lights.
Whoa, kinda crossing the boundaries of personal info. I don't know what if that's prohibited or not -- could have at least blurred out the number and name of the "friend"

Paid 400 for new, wrapped in plastic. Perfect tails.

Seller said they had only been put on once. Won't find em cheaper. Which is true. For mint. Wrapped. And perfect tails.

And to be frank. I don't give a shit at this point about his privacy. I'm not going to let some punk kid tarnish my rep as a buyer when he is nothing less than a liar

You took a "less than mint" product out of the packaging AND PUT THEM ON YOUR CAR.

Almost ANYONE who knows about contracts & transactions knows that the minute you put them on your car and started driving around with them, you had "taken possesion".

If you didnt like the condition, you should have taken pictures and PUT THEM BACK IN THE PACKAGING and not touched them until AFTER you spoke to the seller.

Seems like you bought yourself a set of "less than perfect" lights.

Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but it looks like the 25th at 12:04 he stated he gave you the opportunity to return them to get a refund... I'm not sure how all the refunds you've done in life work, but you don't go to Wal-Mart to get a refund without having the item, we don't issue refunds until we get the item back. This is a chance people take to save a few bucks.. We see it all the time, i can buy it here or there for 5$ less or what ever.. then when there is a issue they are left with their ____ in their hands. If you don't want issues, always buy from a reputable place, one that's actually authorized dealer of the part your buying. We have more then once seen where someone saved 25$ on a eBay purchase to be shafted once they need warranty work, because eBay seller wasn't authorized dealer.

For the record also, we have only had a small case of "melted" lights.. 4 out of i have no idea what we have sold 100+... but 4 over the last 7 months or so have needed warranty for them, one local here in Vegas, the first we saw of this, one in So. Cal. one in Ga. and one in Texas.. All BC have stepped up and replaced right away. They are made by Depo the same company that makes TOM's for the record

Also, contemplated taking the number off. But didn't need Hunter saying I made it up... same with the friend.

Also STUGRAY. took pics prior to putting on car. They're chilling in my garage while I wait to get this sorted. They went on for a test fit (passenger side only as it is not as damaged) but that is all.

And to respond to @fteightysix I agree, however I don't trust that I'd mail them and never receive any money. Thus why I asked for a partial refund and I'd go through all the warranty hassle. Or refund and mail immediately. I like to consider myself a man of my word. Again, this is a trust based forum

When I spoke to buddy club. The shifting of the inner housing is fairly common he said. But any melting or warping is something they have seen and know about, but as you said is less common

Oh. Correction. STUGRAY... he said the problems weren't visible once lights were on. So I slid one in. Took a pic. Sent it saying yes... clearly visible.

Notice immediately below. The black moulding. Also. The pic of it on vehicle. To show the divide between top of housing and lights/outer casing. You can see into the light.
