The only thing I would change from the default is to have both doors unlock on 1 button press and the DRLs. Everything else is fine with me as is.

Very true, I hate pressing the unlock button twice. To bystanders it sounds like you are trying to make those beeping sounds and getting their attention.

Also if you don't press it twice quickly it doesn't open the passenger door.

Lol I literally turned off most of the safety beeps, drls, and adjusted the auto headlight sensitivity for my friend because I can, I wonder what will happen during an inspection or something

Great for bug removal, de-icer, and as a waxing agent. And should a hit and run be in your future... simply light up and walk away.

I'm from Jersey so this whole don't pump your own gas thing I can relate to, but don't understand. It's not like the law was written when assholes were talking on cell phones and catching themselves on fire...in fact that's the perfect reason to get rid of the law; Natural selection.

I've driven to new Jersey from PA and never knew it was a law and always wondered why the attendants always ushered me back into my car....

Has anyone actually done this? I'd love to be able to do it if it works.

I spoke with my local Toyota dealership about changing this when I had my car in for the fuel pump TSB and they informed me this change was "impossible". Of course it's a dealership so that's probably just .

I think S has to be on for the buzzer to indicate a shift suggestion. I got a beep when I reached my rev limit, but not when the shift indicator lit up. I need to turn S on and try again to verify.

Edit:
Someone said S was for the tach meter to move up to rev limiter on start?

If you are talking about unlocking both doors versus unlocking just the drivers side: I changed mine from "unlock driver's only" to "unlock both doors" by doing some sort of "pedal dance" with the door locks.
Mine is the keyless entry though so it might be different on a FR-S.

So if I walk up with the doors locked and grab the handle, it unlocks both sides.

Holding the unlock and lock button for 30 seconds worked first try for me. Now both doors unlock when I approach the car.
