That's an Atom! I actually had the chance to ride in it. Here's the video.

Yeah, I kind of feel like the Gulf Ford GT laid waste to everything around it. Although I know most turbo carreras can match or beat it for power.

Your car is built so well man! Really like this ride.

Does the dealer not care about the aftermarket header? I kind of assumed they could make excuses about the motor with one of those on

There were actually a good number of cars out that could hang with the GT40 with ease. Here's a few.

They could but the excuses would only go so far without direct correlation to the issue in question (Magnusson-Moss Warranty act). In my personal experience this dealership has not explicitly denied warranty work on my engine due to any of the modifications. I've had a couple high pressure fuel pumps replaced and a couple oil changes and that's it. I prefer to do my own work when it doesn't involve major tear downs.

That looks like my buddy Dave Schram's Thunder Roadster. I have raced with him many a race.

Ah, I thought it was a Ford GT. There are more than a few that were painted in Gulf livery.

That Camaro is a beast! I think I'd still rather have the 996tt though. Always had a soft spot for Carreras. It must be a blast to be on the track with these guys.

That thing excels on a track. EvoMS makes a 4.1 stroker kit for it that takes it up to 540 hp/400 lb-ft torque; makes it a whole new animal.

I've ridden in one though, it'll shake your fillings out on normal roads. I could DD a 996tt and be quite happy.
