Ahh I wish I had the money to splash out on this right now but I'll prob have to wait for the next run. What about the rest of your exhaust system on RHD vehicles? I thought both left and right hand should be identical underneath except for the steering column possibly rubbing on the over pipe.

There was mention of providing the cam timing. Should we contact the sales email address or is there a better contact to email?

Some guys wanted pics of collectors, here's a crappy cell phone pic...

Must be the reflection of the flash that looks white... but dem welds in general for the header are pretty awesome!!

The exhaust components (header, overpipe, front pipe, midpipe, etc.) should be the same between RHD, LHD.

That would be something you would have to talk to your tuner about base on your whole exhaust setup and not just the header. I know the VE is dramatically diiferent than the stock header, so to extract the most power out of the header, the custom dyno tuning is highly recommended.

We are working on a revised version of our header-back exhaust sysem for the NA market that would give you the full performance potential when used in conjunction with our header but with a more mellow exhaust note. No ETA on that at the moment but testing is currently underway.

Our header was tested with our 3" over-pipe back exhaust system. We are developing an NA specific front-pipe, mid-pipe section that will hopefully provide the same power output, but at much lower db's.

With that said though, we still want owners to get the most out of our header with their existing exhaust components. If you purchased our header, please contact your PTUNING sales representative for the suggested cam timing settings. If you purchased directly online from us, then you can send an email to sales@ptuning.com.

Just to give everyone a heads up again, due to the drastically improved VE over the factory header, you WILL NEED to get a custom tune to get the MOST out of our header. Yes, you will see gains with the header alone, but the big gains will come from optimizing the tune to work with the header. If you are getting a tune locally, make sure your tuner is dyno tuning the cam timing too and not just the fuel and timing maps.

Once we finalize our header-back exhaust system, we will offer a PnP NA power package using ECUTek and possibly even OFT. We'll also be testing with E85 too, but that likely won't happen for another several weeks.

Thanks again for your purchase.

@MrC Any plans to develop a new V-Band overpipe for the PTuning turbo guys to connect directly to the header V-Band, skipping the single gasket? That would just be .... amazing.

@rb6freak. I see you noticed why we made the merge collector end in a v-band with an 2-bolt adaptor pipe yes, that was our intentions from day one is to possibly offer an upgraded overpipe for our turbo system owner who is also running our race header. This will allow us to eliminate the last 2-bolt gasket in the exhaust chain (excluding header gasket of couse)--You'll be the first to know, since we're always keeping tabs on the track guys

For those that are currently running our header NA. Keep in mind that if one day you're ready to go turbo, that beautiful header will still be fully utilized with our low-mount turbo system

They are all well designed and engineered.

Any chance we'll see a smaller diameter version of your DS-300 system possibly made in titanium for us N/A weight shredding freaks in the future?

Not sure if there's a demand for a ti exhaust that will probably double in price over SS.

So I finally made it home to open the box and the exhaust looks really nice. It's going down to performance coatings on Monday afternoon, and I was hoping to install later this week....

One thing I noticed....is the kit supposed to come with manifold and overpipe gaskets? Mine didn't come with any at all
