Catback is a kind of waste of money I went with perrin because of how quiet it is and renowned it is. If you don't already get exhaust tips! If you're looking for more power the Crawford power blocks are prob your next best bet or the grimmspeed intake

Can I request a video from you? I want to get the OFH but I think that would definitely be too loud. Plus how are you the performance on the car from the OFT, OFT, and muffler delete combo?

I'll see what I can do for a video but no promises, my iphone is a company one so it has camera functions disabled sadly. I'll see if I can grab the fiance's phone for a few minutes on the next drive. Once cruising though, I would say it sounds almost exactly like a peanut/hawk eye STI with an invidia turboback, minus the pops. In regards to dB, I would put it a few notches above my evo VIII with a turbo back (stock cam) but below my integra with a buddy club exhaust and mugen header. I'll see what I can do for a video. |

Go to the software tuning thread and look around I think some of the guys that are good have figured it out (not difficult, especially if you're a mechanical engineer)

I had installed my OFH by removing the midpipe mounting.
Now I been trying to changed the Overpipe and the midpipe but I can't seem to get the over pipe out. Is the only way to get it out is to lower the subframe or remove the heat shield?

Ordered my OFT/OFH yesterday and I'm excited to play with my new toys. Thinking ahead about installation: What are most of you doing to install your OFH? DIY, muffler shop, etc? I'm wanting to do the install myself, but I've never done this kind of thing before and I haven't been able to find any OFH-specific installation instructions (I did find instructions for installing the Borla header, and in a pinch I might try to adapt those). Those of you who've installed your own OFH, how would you characterize the difficulty of the installation? Is it doable with ramps or is a lift needed? Which tools are a must have? Any pro-tips / advice?
Thanks very much. Really appreciate those of you who've shared your experiences / feedback. |
