I lost my Starcraft 2 awhile ago, looking for a new RTS game. Suggestions?

Age of Empires II (still the best RTS), Hearts of Iron III (if you want to spend hours on micromanagement)

How do you lose sc2? It's a fully downloaded game where you login with an account...

i lost the disc and when i went to go play it one day i had to reinstall for some reason.

Reinstall it then. SC2 is amazing.

If you'd like a larger scale, truly magnificent RTS, check out Supreme Commander (Not the sequel). Spiritual successor to Total Annihilation, which was amazing.

Between SC2 and Supreme Commander, I fully satisfy my RTS bug. My CnC remains untouched

That's what I'm saying. If you lost your disc, download from their website and login with your battle.net account and you are good to go

I've been playing a mix of Company of Heroes 2, Planetary Annihilation, Supreme Commander, and Sins of a Solar Empire.

SC came out in 98, Brood War in 99. So it took eleven years after the expansion for SC2 to hit. And we're only on the first expansion for SC2, which took about two and a half years. There's a Protoss-themed one that will be the completion of the SC2 trilogy, if I remember correctly. I'm guessing we might be seeing a preview trailer for the next expansion at Blizzcon this year, and it'll be out in a year, year and a half from now.

I honestly wouldn't expect SC3 until like 2020 or later.
