Do I still need the conical washer?

Are those Beatrush plates no-raising, or if they raise how much?

Thanks.

@Racecomp Engineering
I'm unfortunately not familiar with the beatrush camber plates. Probably don't need the conical washers.

I was unaware these existed.

Suggestions of compatible lowering front top mounts?

We have our RCE lowering camber plates, unfortunately we have major supply issues and I'm not sure when they'll be resolved. We're working on it. I believe Ground control might have an option but I don't have much experience with them.

I read and noticed these have great reviews.

But, are they twin or mono tubes? I think I read these are twin tubes. Can I ask why you decided to go twin instead of mono, and is it on par with mono tube performance for track use?

I keep reading from many other suspension pros that mono tubes are best for pure performance, quick reaction and track use; but idk if that's entirely true or not.

Heard. Any updates as they become available would be greatly appreciated.

I'm kicking around the idea of going widebody and lowering the car a bit more might be needed to achieve the fitment I'd like. I love these coils and would hate to remove them for a set of V3's in order to achieve this.

With that being said, I know lowering another .5" on these coils might significantly hurt ride quality or suspension performance overall, but I suppose that's a bridge I'd cross once I got there.

T2s use the same body as V3s, so you won't gain anything in terms of lowering there.

These are twintubes.

I'd take a "good" twintube over a crappy monotube anyday.

Yes I think ideally a motorsport shock will be a monotube, but there are plenty of ways to screw up a monotube and plenty out there that aren't very good. The main thing to worry about is the actual valving.

A 2 way damping adjustable monotube that doesn't suck is going to be in a different price range. That's really what it comes down to. With a twintube we can bring that flexibility in tuning the damper the way you like it and matching it to the car well at a much lower price. You miss a few of the advantage of a high end monotube with nice gas pressure and all that but you get a great value.

I'm currently running T0's.

AFAIK, T0's only offer 1.5" of lowering capabilities in the front while the V3's offer up to 2".

Is it necessary to get rear top hats for the extra travel time? I am planning to have the car sit at 1 finger gap all around on 18x9.5 255 35 18. Mainly for daily, cruise in the canyon once in a while, and in the future might track a little.

T0's are based on KW V1's, not V3's.

T2's are based on V3's.

The only differences are spring rates and valving (between V1 and T0 or V3 and T2), so base the lowering range off what KW publishes.

I've upgraded the OEM tires to Dunlop ZII*s and now the suspension seems to be the weakest link. I'm looking at different options and a set of RCE T0 along with rear LCAs being one of them.

@Racecomp Engineering I would like to know the highest ride height (compared to stock) possible with the T0 (because steep driveway). Is it 20mm drop? Thanks in advance.

You can do a 15mm drop without issue.

@Racecomp Engineering do you guys know if getting Raceseng Spring Perch or keeping T0s spring perch will change the need for the Subaru Washer?

@Raceseng may know too....

Thanks.

I got them with the Raceseng perches. I wanted to minimize stack height while maximizing travel as well as having beefier bearings...

Quote:
The spring perches feature a sealed angular contact radial bearing to remove rotational loads from being transmitted to the sphercial bearing, resulting in noise free operation and smoother steering response. Isolating the rotational loads caused by the natural movement in the suspension prevents the spherical bearing from prematurely wearing out. If you've had any kind of “chatter” come from your old caster/camber plates, you know why this is important!
I never had to use the conical washer with my previous setup with OEM struts and perches with Whiteline top mounts, although I bet it would have improved the bearing life in those top mounts.
