I get a call. Turns out to be a woman pitching aftermarket repair warranties. She pronounces the make "Ske on". Click.

@Dimman
The more I think about it, the more I feel like a 2+2 isn't going to be nearly as cool as my MR2. My car needs a bit of work but I know my way around it pretty well by now and I'm starting to realize there are a lot of things you can do to "modernize" an old car like this such as LED lighting. There's a guy on Spyderchat who's making a custom design hardtop for the car. 10k should be enough to cover a 2ZZ swap, fixing all the panels and replacing some with carbon, and some more goodies, and it would be a way better car to drive than a G35 or some other boat. A bit more money and I can build the 2ZZ for some 9000rpm goodness. |

I've gotten a taste of 7800rpm in a Porsche and I honestly would be very happy with that already. My 6700rpm rev limiter feels like driving a diesel truck in comparison. But then once there's 7800 on tap, I'll probably get bored of that and want more. One day I will have a built 2ZZ that does 10000... This is probably a never ending money burning quest.

My SV650 goes up to 11.
That'll do it for the time being. Washed the FR-S today. It's been a while. Even scrubbed up the wheels. Time for a break.
