Didn't even notice that or would have narrowed my guess down. Pumped many a gallon of fuel into 53s of all kinds back in the 70s when stationed at different bases.

Man, that's awesome. Congrats!

almost 68 yo.
Former used car tech at Honda new car Stealership.
other rides: 05 Mustang GT, 85 Toyota Pickup.

Just bought, two weeks ago, 2015 FRS man trans.
1000 miles on it so far, just what I'd call...near town driving, no trips yet.

May never drift it, but surely have initially beat the shit out of it, right from the start, on cruddy, winding back roads in the Lost coast area.
[The break-in period on this car ended with the 16 miles on the odo when I drove it off the lot]

This car is made to be driven hard. And ticket city, despite the small engine. Easily could be called a pocket rocket. Difficult to control myself 'in town' driving...waiting for my lst reckless driving ticket.

39, 20+ years of active duty service Air Force, currently E7, wife is 49, 21.y.o. daughter, 18 y.o. son, working on my 4th college degree...Master's in something or other.

Started an MbA, got halfway thru and decided it sucked and was boring.

Who cares how old we are, the car is affordable, RWD, fun to drive and F@#k 'em.

If you haven't already head over to the Off Topic section and hit up the Military Service Poll.
Seems a lot of us on here are/were military.
