Windows that don't have the stupid auto up/down. My main and really only major gripe with this car. It is the only problem I've had with it so far. It is a silly thing but I have to reset my windows at least twice a week in the winter months.

I would also love to see the s2k motor in a brz with a 9k redline and 240hp. Sure it would have similar torque numbers but I love that engine.

Seems like this is a lot of moan and groan, you all do realize a lot of this is taken over by the aftermarket. Rather than sell a more expensive car Toy/Sub have given a well priced "canvas" for you to fill in how you please. So I do agree with most of these but have also remedied most of it myself, with very little spent.

Most of what has been stated is easily / cheaply fixed.
Torque Dip: Header/Tune
Noise: Dynamat
Armrest: srsly buy one

Some of these things would be horrible IMO; I'm very very glad there aren't steering wheel controls yea it would be helpful sometimes but in the way when having fun

One thing I do agree on is the paint, really toyobaru could have spent a little more there..

Only item that bugs that haven't been able to fix myself are the factory door opening stops!

The door hinges open at 3 stopping points, which are either too wide and will hit the car parked next to me, or so small that I have to twist my way out like a gymnast.

It's also impossible to balance the door open in-between stopping points, as it will slide open or closed and either hit the car next to you or your shin!

Someone that was patient could easily file additional detents in bar...

Only gripe, should've come with 250whp. Everything else is trivial, that extra HP would've put the car where it should be.

No red stitching and a more neutral interior (nicer, I suppose).

Roomier backseat by sacrificing truck space. I mean if you can fold the seats down for more space, why not give more back seat room and reduce the truck space a little? (if that's even possible that is)

Here's one:

Move the 3rd brake light to the top of the back window. Where it is now blocks the important part of the view!

BTW - I love the 1990s Toyota clock! I always wanted a 1980s/90s RX-7 or Supra and at the time I couldn't afford to even think about one. Seeing that clock always reminds me that I ended up with something even better!

Having said that, though, another silly gripe is that they didn't flip the center controls for left vs right hand drive - this means the clock is usually behind my arm when I want to check the time! Not so for right-hand-drive...

I slapped myself after living with the car for about 2 years and found out how terrible the heated seats are, how no one on the other side of my bluetooth cannot understand what I`m saying, and also how squeaky/loud the cabin is (coming from a wrx I should`ve known).

but I slapped myself because I realized the stupidity of expecting "luxury" from subaru.

all I want is 300lbs less weight and I would`ve been really really happy.

regarding tires, I believe Tada san made a big deal about the car not being tuned to a specific tire so the owner can go and match it up with whatever tire they want. i think the oe tire is a good one to learn on, but definitely not the best one for novice drivers.

somehow I would bet you that the bluetooth device for the Aussies is a better one compared to the ones we get in the states.

Unfortunately not many cars in general are getting love in the paint department. Blame crazy large environmental regulations and a trade-in crazy consumer society as the largest drivers to auto companies backing off on how much and what quality paint it put on.

That acorns wouldn't put huge dents in my roof and hood while I'm parked.
