Yeah at Lime Rock I was running 392 whp (NARRA TT2 Trim) which proved a little too much for the transmission.

@Element Tuning - do you have any video of the run at Road Atlanta? In NA form i'm struggling to get past 1:49:xx. Would love to see what you're doing to achieve such stellar times!

Hopefully this works for you as I'm a little limited getting YouTube link with a mobile.

[ame]http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=QlEX2a6jf-M[/ame]

In a nutshell, big balls. LOL! Ask Austin Cabbot but I was flat out in 12 and he just about totalled his car trying that so be careful! I feel like I was really fast through one but on day two dropped a couple seconds hanging it out in 2-3. I took a ride in the grass there at least once so I was definitely pushing it.

Take a look at the video and let me know if you need any advice but RA is tough to master and I don't feel like I have yet but am getting close.

Impressive. Thanks for sharing!

Here's a video of one of my 1:49:xx runs.
Best lap starts at 3 minutes 48 seconds. Lots of room for improvement needed especially in 1, 5, 10a/b, etc.

Were you running a square setup with the Hankook RS3 275/35-18? Also do you have any idea of what your WHP was? I feel like i'm miles behind you!

I was +15 hp over baseline. I was running 275-18 square but don't get any ideas as that's a much slower setup for an NA FRS/BRZ. Less rolling diameter for better gearing and less weight is actually quicker than what I was running.

Just remember you don't have a whole lot to gain by crashing your car so just drive within the car's and your limits.

From what I see you're just not using enough of the track. When you have such a low amount of power it's really important to not pinch off your turns so take it in wider, turn in, and then let the car drift out and or open that wheel up to use all the track.

There is so much track out available for T1 run wider in and through (don't take the high power car line like you currently are). So slow down less and go wide so you don't scrub speed and you'll keep more momentum up that hill.

For T5 you can go a lot faster if you imagine the line using the run off. LOL! There a whole lot more track out there to keep the throttle hammered and accelerating down that short straight.

I don't think you're losing a ton of time in 10a-b but you could use more curbing than you are and then track out more going up the hill. Given how slow the FRS/BRZ is up there you should stay more left under the bridge (as you are way right now). This will allow for a more shallow angle as you enter 12 which will allow for more speed.

Have fun!

Here's another good video for Road Atlanta from NASA East Coast Nationals. Driver came in 3rd in TTD with a 1:43.5

No video, but here is the information on one of the sessions with the lap time.

Also a video on one of the laps above chasing my friend, for kicks. Could be the fast lap, don't know for sure.

Conditions were pretty good for this event with nice, cool November air. Dropped just about a second from my previous best trying to be smoother in the corners and working being slower in and faster out of the corners.

Great line. Drivers going for the first time can learn a good deal of what they need to know by watching this video.

I had a later session where I think I took an even better line into the carousel. Here's the clip:
