I have to admit, I didn't think this was a big deal until I plugged it...it does a make a huge difference, especially if you have a good entertainment system. I do have to listen to my wife now, though.

I swapped the amber side markers with clear markes and amber LED bulbs. Also swapped the turn indicator amber bulbs with LED's. Made the car look cleaner (IMHO). Pcs are in my garage if you want to see how they look.

Adjust your clutch so you can shift easier.
Video here: [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zr_ogcPOPY"]how to adjust clutch BRZ FRS GT86 - YouTube[/ame] Weight reduction remove spare liners carpets rear seats (yes a pw mod ish because it increases your pw to weight ratio) drop in air filter makes as much power as all the intakes systems. So any will do. Cheapest KN filter with a online promo code advance. (20 bucks) Get a OFT tuning software. easy to use. you can go back to stock improve MPG power gains smoother idle. 400 ish used 500 new but just check up the classified for parts. SPC lower control arms for rear camber 189 shipped to your door + 1 for the front camber bolts. 15(oem) whiteline 25. A good alignment really improves the ride drastically. Life time alignment from firestone (150 ish) Bushing goes a long way...whiteline subframe diff. etc etc. cheap as well but the best bang for bucks. better tires.

...I'm holding my thumb and forefinger really close together. Oh, another great <ahem> mod. The OEM mudflaps are super cool and not at all expensive. Those were my birthday present last month.

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...+rattle&page=2 Take a read through that thread and see the photos about halfway down the second page of the back of the window switches. I loosened and lifted the door panel, leaving the puddle light and door latch/lock wiring/cable connected. There were four screws holding the window switch in and I removed those and popped the window switch assembly out, disconnecting the wires. I could visibly and audibly wiggle around the switch components the way they were snapped together in the housing. I used a small knife to jam foam tape in around the parts until the shaking the switch no longer made it rattle. Reassemble and voila. Then I adjusted the EQ and discovered that turning up the low frequencies no longer made it sound like I had blown speakers. The shop manual provides some guidance for removing the door panels: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35279 All in all, this could be done in an hour. Just be patient popping the push pins out on the doors. |

I like the sound of the engine. I can understand people wanting a "silent" ride, but I think saying the sound is too long to carry a conversation is quite exaggerated.

You're example is proof that the folks upstairs weren't completely daft when they installed that thing. Different strokes. Enjoy! Hell, get the RED one! ![]()
